Once you leave the house, you're still going to smell the wood smoke on your clothes & hair :( Debbie is right about running a humidifier. It will help keep moisture in the air and help reduce URI's because of the allergens. You can also try using "Ozium", it will help neutralize the odor but make sure you don't breath it directly. It comes in a spray can. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help. Fabreze makes a good spray for furniture and drapes and I find cachet for closets and drawers is wonderful for clothes.
