Please tell your experiences with vent free gas fireplaces. What are you feelings about their safety? Are they safe? Do they put out sooty film on walls an curtains? Have you gotten sick since you’ve been around them? I can choose between gas and electric right now (new construction) and I am getting mixed messages about gas fireplaces. Please help!
