This is great. Tell him if he wants out, that you will find a friend who’ll love that deal and he can move out once the arrangements have been made. If you don’t want to go that route, tell him to go apartment hunting and find something better or even the same as what you have for less money per person. In my mind, it would have to be about 50 – 100 per person less to justify moving.

It really depends on your location but it’s a fantastic deal for a city apartment regardless of where. I’m ready to move there yesterday! If he keeps complaining, he can move out. Good luck finding a better deal, dude. He should be giving you roses!

Unless you live in an extremely depressed area you are getting a great deal. Just the utilities alone would be running you about 300.00 a month or more on average. Tell him that he had the opportunity to find a better deal himself, and that when your lease is up he is welcome to go find a better deal.

thats a Great deal. Last year I had to rent a Room and paid 500 a month in one then 400 in another and thought that was amazing. great deal leave it alone.
