Is My Budgie Dying? Please Help!!!?

my budgie is constantley making tiny chirping noises and he seems to have trouble breathing. please help i dont know what to do. we currently have him in a 1/2 light 1/2 dark area and is near the electric fireplace for heat. i read that on a website. please help what should i do? he’s 9 years old and I’m going to miss him if he dies. please help!!!!

    It’s good that you are keeping your budgie warm, but he needs medical help. If he’s having trouble breathing, he could have a respiratory infection. Some signs of a respiratory infection are runny cere, sneezing alot, tail bobbing, sleeping too much, and fluffed up appearance. You need to get him to the vet immediately.

    Try to feel your budgie. Does he feel cold? If so he could have a respiratory problem. If he’s colder then normal I suggest taking him to a vet. Check his environment as well, budgies love to be in the light, they love being able to see outside and sometimes can pout if they can’t. I hope this helped some.
