I don’t think its tacky. Lots of mantelpieces and fireplace surrounds are painted white. Against a brick colored wall, the white should really pop out and look fresh.

its tacky don’t be fooled the white and red brick is out my source all the ones ive torn out or remodeled..ca general contractor
cheap soluton: paint the brick a soft mocha or latte if your going with white.

yes. and not useful. you will never ever enjoy an electric fireplace. you would be better off with a lava lamp or a fish tank.
