I Just Moved Into An Apt. That Has A Fire Place. Where To I Get A Insert For It And How Do I Put It In.?
I looked in the net and alls i get is gas stove or electric fire places . This is an old house with a fireplace in it would love for the heat to come in my home! Thanks, Huey

First make sure the chimney is clean, open and usable! You can usually find inserts in second hand papers. New ones check Lowes, Northern tools, or any hardware type store. Check the yellow pages too.
You might even need the owners permission too since insurance could be effected by this.

Ebay has numerous fire ‘suites’ as presumably you will need the back as well as the surround/mantle. Before installing you should have the chimney swept by a professional sweep for safety.

I would depend if you want to order it online or not. I would suggest you go to craigslist.org or kijiji.com and advertise there and scan the advertisements in your area, great place to start!
