Buying Electric Fireplaces

I Am Considering Buying An Electric Fireplace, How Realistic Does The Flame Look, Or Is There A Flame?

I HAVE BEEN CHECKING THOSE OUT TOO
THEY ARE PRETTY KOOL LOOKING…
YOU CAN SEE THEM PLUGGED IN WHEN YOU GO TO THE STORES THAT SELL THEM…
* WALL MART
*ZELLERS
*HOME DEPOT
I REALLY WANT ONE, I GUESS IT DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO SPEND THE MORE REALISTIC THE FLAME IS…. GOOD LUCK….=)

    I agree with lady-mac. I have just moved into a new house with one and the flames do look real as if the coals and wood are really burning. Have no idea of cost as it was supplied by the builder. Hope this helps

    yes there is a flame and it depends on how much you spend as to how realistic it will look so go for it i prefer the real thing though

    Depends how much money you spend.
    We had a quite expensive one that looked like a real flame which was “guarded” by glass. It was fancy and everyone thought it was real. I believe it looked life-like because both “fire” and the “coals” were behind glass.
    My grandparents bought a cheaper one. The “fire” was behind the glass, but the “coal” was infront of it, so of course they were off balance and it looked unreal.
    :) Just advice, I guess
