Help With Replacing A Fireplace….?
Please have a look at the picture of my fireplace:
I would like to replace the inside as it doesnt seem to work
Does it look like gas/electric??? How would i go about replacing it without ruining the surrounding tiles? What kind of fireplace would i need to look for and what kind of trade usually does these sorts of things?
Help is appreciated!

What a beautiful fireplace. I can see why you don’t want to damage the tile.
Gas/ Electric- that should be easy to figure out. If it’s electric it will have a switch somewhere, or an igniter. If it’s gas there should be a gas valve somewhere. Remove all the stuff inside and look for a gas pipe.
I think your best bet is to call a professional. I use Paragon Schmid, but I don’t know if they have one in your area. I would search for “fireplace restoration”.

Looks like it could be either or. Without seeing it in person I am not able to tell. Consider calling in a professional
