Fitting A Reproduction Cast Iron Fireplace?
Hello Thinking of buying a reproduction Victorian cast iron fire with tiles down the side and a oak mantelpiece and surround with a marble hearth and fitting electric fire insert just for the visual effect i have took the old fireplace out and the walls and every thing are fine has anybody fitted Thia type of fireplace and did they have any problems

You only need to be careful if you are going to use the fireeplace for real fires. Then you would need to make sure all the fire cement is in place etc.
