I bought this item about Three Years ago We progressed from a wood burning fireplace, to a Gas insert ( really beautiful but expensive to use), “Down” to this unit. I would never have dreamed that THIS solution would be far the best.
Instant heat ( if you want ) , and a SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL, very realistic looking
“flame”. After all this time using it I’m still tempted to touch the top to make sure it isn’t overheating . It looks that real.
Recently I moved this unit to our Bedroom and put a Dimplex electric fireplace insert in the fireplace ( Dimplex Deluxe 23″ insert ~ $300 on Amazon). I like it
very much, but I must admit I still prefer the “old stove” for the absolutely best looking flame. You can’t go wrong with Dimplex. They are the Gold Standard for realistic electric fires.

We bought this stove four years ago for a cottage porch. It is absolutely beautiful! Wish I had another for my house. One year we brought it home for a while while the cottage was closed for the winter. So we LOVE IT!!!

I just purchased a fireplace on line from http://www.whitestarliving.com We love it, keeps the room warm and looks great. I think the best part is you can turn the heat off and still have the flame. Very Cool!!
