Did Anyone Hear On The News That You Can’t Have A Wood Fireplace Only Unless It Is Gas Or Electric?
I heard this on the news one morning and wanted to check on it , I can’t find the information about it.

This must be a local ordinance. I know that some areas have “smoke laws” that prohibit having a fire that emits a certain amount of smoke. I would think California would be the first to pass such a law since they have all other types of pollution laws.

It may have to do with your local fire regulations after all of the problems last year. I’d check with the local fire hall. They would know because they may have to report offenders to local police.

I think this one applies on some local areas only, to lessen the cutting down of trees I think. and of course to minimize air pollution .
