Are Gel Fireplaces Safe ?
I have been working on a rec room and venting a gas fireplace is out off the question,so thinking about Gel Fireplaces or electric ,the gel fireplace looks like maybe a good Idea ,like real flames and heat ,But is it safe????

They are safe but the gel fuel is expensive. If you have an existing fireplace hearth why not just use a fireplace candelabra with candles. Less cost and same flickering.
