Buying Electric Fireplaces

Any Comment On Electric Fireplaces?

They are a glorified space heater but then they are a lot less messy than wood or coal, but personally I cannot warm up to an electric fireplace, I need the thrill of real flames!!! Preferably wood, though gas is quick & convenient, but there is something wonderful about burning wood! The cackle crackle of the flames, the patterns the flames thrown upon the room, very romantic…

    If you can get gas, they are better, but electric is clean and convenient.

    they are very nice to have. but don’t forget not all are energy wise. anything over 10000btu is better.but they are sure nice around the holidays with family and some hot chocolate.
